Convincingly Canadian Canada 150 Poll

Toronto, June 30th – In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Forum Research, using its well-known Forum Poll, conducted a survey amongst 1620 Canadian voters; respondents were asked about their thoughts on the most Canadian food and animal, as well as questions testing their knowledge of Canada’s government and territory, amongst many others.

Almost Two-Thirds in Favour of Bike Lanes Overall

Toronto, June 27th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1040 Toronto voters, almost two-thirds (62%) say they favour bike lanes. Only one quarter (25%) opposes bike lanes, with (14%) saying they do not know. Support for bike lanes overall is up 5 points from March (March 16: 57%).

Ontario Labour Reforms Well Received

Toronto, June 19th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1003 Ontario voters, three-quarters (74%) say that they approve of the provincial government increasing the minimum vacation from two weeks to three weeks for employees that have been with a company for at least five years. Only (18%) disapprove, with (8%) saying they do not know.

Ontario Liberals Tumble Again

Toronto, June 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1003 Ontario voters, amongst those decided and leaning, more than 4-in-10 (44%) say they would support the Progressive Conservatives. Fewer than a quarter (23%) say they would support the Liberals, with the same proportion (24%) saying they would support the NDP. (7%) say they support the Green Party, and (2%) say they would support another party.

Toronto, June 12th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ amongst 1483 Canadian voters, a strong majority (60%) of respondents say that the NDP Leadership race has had no effect on their opinion of the NDP. Only (15%) said it is having a positive effect and (14%) said it is having a negative effect, with (11%) saying they do not know.
