More than 4-in-10 will vote for the Liberal standard-bearer, Marco Mendicino (44%), compared to fewer than 4-in-10 who will vote the incumbent, erstwhile Conservative Minister of Finance, Joe Oliver (38%).
Fully two thirds approve of Mayor Tory’s decision not to bid on the Olympics (66%), and this is equally common in the city of Toronto (69%) and in the surrounding regions (65%).
More than 4-in-10 in total will vote Liberal in the coming federal election (41%), while just more than 3-in-10 will vote Conservative (31%).
Close to 6-in-10 will vote for the NDP’s Olivia Chow in the coming federal election.
Among those who saw the debate, about one quarter think Justin Trudeau won (23%).
More than 4-in-10 will vote for Finance Minister Joe Oliver (41%).
6-in-10, want the Downtown Relief Line (DRL) built before the Scarborough Subway (61%).
About one tenth have taken the Union-Pearson Airport Express (UPX - 9%).
The majority, just over half, oppose hosting the Olympic Games in Toronto using public funds (53%), while just more than a third support the idea (36%)
The clear majority, about 6-in-10, would support a bid to hold the 2024 Olympic Games (61%).
