TORONTO JUNE 7th, 2014 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ of 18 individual ridings in Ontario, the Liberals are winning in 12, NDP in 4, and Conservatives in 2.
In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1022 Ontario voters, relatively equal proportions, just less than four tenths each, will vote Liberal (39%) or PC (37%) in the upcoming election June 12th.
In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 733 Ontario voters, one half say the NDP should support the Liberals if the PCs are elected to a minority in the coming election (49%), where just one third say the NDP should support the PCs in a minority government (33%).
In a random sampling of public opinion among Ontario voters who had watched or listened to the leaders' debate on the evening of June 3, the PCs and the Liberals see their vote share increase slightly from before to after the debate, while the NDP see no advantage.
There is an even split of opinion on whether respondents lean towards the Israeli side (17%) or the Palestinian side (16%) in the current mid-east controversy.
One twentieth admit to being alcoholics (4%), while a further one tenth prefer not to answer (11%) for a total of about one seventh who may be considered to have a drinking problem.
Exactly equal proportions, just more than a third, will vote for the Liberals or the PCs in the upcoming provincial election (36%).
The Liberals have a comfortable lead across all three ridings of Kenora-Rainy River, Thunder Bay-Atikokan and Thunder Bay-Superior North on the evening of the afternoon northern Ontario debate.
